Turnaround all signs of dull, stressed skin | Clinique Turnaround Revitalizing Serum

I always have this problem - tired and haggard looking skin no matter what kind of moisturizer I put onto my skin to keep it hydrated. I just do not get the brighten and fresh skin as what people always mentioned in their reviews - no matter what brands of moisturizer they are using. Unlike me, be it drug store or high end brands, I just do not get the true feeling of fresh looking skin.

It always makes me wonder whether I'm actually lack of sleep or I'm just lack of rest? Or could it be both? I do not know.

I have been introduced to Clinique Turnaround Revitalizing Serum a month ago while doing my window shopping at Clinique counter - I bought this at whim, of course. Probably the Clinique SA tired of hearing me complaining about my not-looking-fresh skin, thus she tried to convinced me to get this.

As claimed by Clinique,

"High-powered serum optimizes cell renewal to continually reveal fresher, healthier-looking skin. Helps bring vibrant new cells to the surface for a refined, uniform texture and renewed healthy glow. Skin looks energized, feels velvety smooth. Oil-free."

It is actually a lightweight gel that is suitable for all skin types - as for me who owned an oily skin that prone to acne love this even more as it actually having a sheer texture with matte finished. Just like other Clinique's products, this is also fragrance free - big plus for sensitive skin type.

The packaging is in an opaque bottle with pump dispenser, which almost similar to other Clinique's serum range.

To be honest, I did not actually know what is so great about the long list ingredients, but I run the ingredients list on cos-dna, it does contained 3 ingredients that could cause acne - but so far this serum did not break me out. Surprising! I also noticed it does contained Salicylic Acid which act as an exfoliant agent - meant to treat clogged pores. However, it is listed almost in the bottom which I believe it must be a very mild exfoliant for every skin types - good news is, this serum does not caused any drying to the skin.

What I love about this serum, it is also contains a lot of anti-oxidants such as mulberry root extracts, caffeine and etc, along with multiple anti-irritants ingredients such as barley, wheat and algae. This serum is supposed to act as an anti-ageing serum due to the multiple benefits of the ingredients and also according to the Clinique SA - but personally I love this because it gives fresh and bright looking to my skin.

To my experience, this serum is not only has a matte finished, it is also absorbs immediately when I dab onto my skin, leaving no residue or sticky feeling - big love! I also noticed, my face instantly smoothed and brightens.

The texture is not runny or watery, it is a thick serum that actually absorb quite fast into your skin, lightweight and you will not feel like putting anything on your face. It is a big plus for oily skin type.

The only cons about this product is the pricey side of it. For 30ml serum, I need to pay as much as RM212 - I keep thinking whether to repurchase this or not, but recently I won the Clinique Turnaround contest, Alhamdulillah.. So this extra bottle actually could last for another 1-2 months before I dig my bank account again.

I also coupled this serum together with my favorite - Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair, at AM and PM, and the result simply amazed me. Sticking to the routine religiously for a month now, it feels so much softer and I feel the youthful benefit from it. I woke up in refreshed and healthy skin - no more haggard and tired looking face. For the first time in my life seeing my skin so fresh, bright and alive - if you know what I meant.

If you too is having the same concerns with me - tired and haggard looking skin, you may try and add this serum into your skincare regime. It is truly recommended.

P/S: I also read many good reviews for the overnight moisturizer in Clinique Turnaround range. As usual, it will continuously haunting me till I go and get it.
