Today's post is a bit different from usual. I am going to talk about food spot - a place where my boyfriend and I always love to go for lunch for when he is in JB. If you ever come to Johor Bahru for any special occasions, I would like to recommend you to a cozy food place where you can satisfy your taste bud while enjoying the 'feel good' atmosphere.
It is located at the heart of JB town, Jalan Tan Hiok Nee, opens at 11.30am till 10.30pm daily. So, what I love about this place is definitely the food. At first, we were stumbled upon at this place for their indoor waterfall from outside of their huge glass window. We thought, it is a cozy place to catch up with friends while having their boat noodle for RM1.90.
We totally love their Tomyam for the 'true' Thai Tomyam taste and the dark gravy with sweet and sour spices of Rangsit Chicken. My boyfriend is not a fan of spicy food, so he ordered the Pad Thai which served in a beautiful plate.
And for myself, I love the spiciness of their Tomyam, so I'll make sure the seafood Tomyam served with rice is a must in every visit.
We also enjoy their steamed squid which is served in extremely hot and citrus-y sauce with fine cutting salads in it.
For the ambiance, the taste of food offers at reasonable price, this is really a Thai cuisine at its best and an Instagram worthy food place to check out .
